Step 2: Is to heed the recommendations below

I highly recommend that you start with an inexpensive system and see how you like it. There are many systems out there that you can purchase or build yourself, however here is a word of caution, many of the systems being sold are very expensive and many are not worth the money. In fact you can build them yourself for a fraction of what they are asking for them and many of the systems that you can build yourself inexpensively have drawbacks that will discourage you from enjoying hydroponics or seeing the profit value if you are looking to start a business.

Hydroponics is about growing a lot with minimal effort, for this very reason I designed a small inexpensive system that you can build yourself or purchase one from us already made with all the necessary items to plant your first plant, or you can build one and I show you how.

Your first project is designed to teach you how easy it is to grow with hydroponics, how simple the systems are and introduce you to two part nutrients salts or solids. Teach water quality, TDS and PH but will also teach you the difficulties that would be associated with larger systems that you can easily avoid if you follow our recommendations.

If purchasing from another site, avoid hidden costs like chemicals, timers, air pump and other accessories that you need to get started with. Purchase a simple ready to go kit like the one I have here. It is cheaper than building and purchasing all of the other items that are required and if you decide you don't like doing hydroponics you only spend a small amount of money, the choice is yours. The nice thing is that you can start small with a few dollars and build up to go as large as you want.

If you decide to build indoors don't forget you need lighting, If purchasing or building, your first unit can be placed outdoors provided the weather is good enough to grow, until you learn more about lighting and how to prepare the place you selected for your hydroponics.
